Old Games bullet Games
Two of my old games from whilst I was going under the guise of Duel Design. Thankfully these days I just accept that I'm not a company, I'm just me. They should all work in Windows XP, I can't speak for Vista though.

Squelch!

This was my first foray into shareware. It didn't do too bad, not well enough for me to give up the day job though. It's a party game platformer where the aim is to jump on your opponents head before they can do the same to you. There were several power-ups to help, and a few traps and pitfalls to hinder you. The game had the ability to allow user made arenas and due to this a small community sprang up. Sadly the community is now gone and with it probably all traces of the user made arenas, some of which were very good. If anybody has any of the user arenas I'd very much like a copy. I'll put up any arenas I find on the forum.

Earth Defender

I made Earth Defender to have a go at making a 3D game. It turned out a lot better than I'd hoped, especially as I didn't start with a design document, and it still gets a huge amount of downloads on TuCows. I was even offered a $1000 contract to finish it up and turn it into a full game. Unfortunately I felt the work needed to turn it into a full game, due to bad code design, wasn't worth the $1000. Plus my art skills probably weren't up to the task either. The game itself is an arcade shooter where you fly your low altitude fighter in an attempt to destroy the evil alien invaders.

Really Old Games bullet Games
Here's two of my really old games from when I was trying to be a company called WIPGames. To play them you'll need either DOS or a DOS emulator. I recommend DOSbox, actually, I don't know of any other DOS emulators.

--Duel--

Duel is a simple two player artillery game. It was entered into a PC Zone competition. It didn't win, Anthony Flack's excellent Bert the Barbarian won, but I did get a prize or two as runner up.

Octanks

Octanks is two player overhead arena shooter. I actually really like this game it's simple but fun.
