PhysLite
A lightweight and simple to use module for adding arcade style physics into your BlitzMax projects. Based on a fixed time-step verlet integration PhysLite is fast and extremely simple to use. The module features hundreds of functions enabling your program to interact with the simulation. Change velocities, gravity, positions and more with the easy to understand command set. PhysLite is fully documented, complete with tutorials and examples, and includes the full BlitzMax source code to the module.
Examples
Here is a video demonstrating some of the many things that can be done using PhysLite. Each game in the video was developed in under four hours using PhysLite to control the games physics.
Below are a few screen shots of some of the games that have been made using PhysLite.
You can also download the demos/tutorials and the editors to have a play with.
License
*License restrictions. Distribution of the source code to PhysLite is forbidden, so only compiled programs that use PhysLite may be sold or distributed. The use of PhysLite to create other physics modules or libraries is also forbidden. If you are in any doubt about a particular use please feel free to post on the Forum, or Contact me directly, for clarification. The license does not include bugfixes and support. Whilst I will make every effort to improve and expand PhysLite, it is probably best that these services are not assumed.
